The first 24–48 hours

Mild redness and a feeling of tightness are normal and usually pass quickly. During this period, avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms and intense physical activity that causes sweating on the treated zone.

Skin hydration

Applying a mild, fragrance-free moisturizing lotion helps the skin calm down and recover faster. Avoid products containing alcohol, fragrance or active acids (retinol, AHA/BHA) for the first few days.

Sun protection

Treated skin is temporarily more sensitive to the sun. We recommend SPF 50 on exposed zones and avoiding direct sun exposure for at least two weeks after treatment, to prevent pigmentation changes.

What to avoid

  • Plucking, waxing or tweezing between sessions — shaving only.
  • Exfoliating or vigorously rubbing the treatment zone for a few days after the session.
  • Tight clothing that causes friction on the treated zone for the first day or two.
  • Tanning beds and self-tanning until the skin has fully recovered.

Normal skin reactions

Besides redness, some clients notice mild swelling around the follicles (similar to a mosquito bite) that passes within a few hours to a day. This is a sign that the follicle responded to treatment.

If you notice pronounced redness, blistering, or a reaction that doesn't pass within the usual timeframe, contact us for advice before your next treatment.

When to book your next session

We schedule the next session 4 to 6 weeks out, in line with the hair growth cycle for that particular zone — our team will suggest the optimal timing at the end of every visit.
